Forsyth Tech Esports Lab is Taking Shape

The Forsyth Tech Esports Lab setup is under way! This state-of-the-art lab will host Forsyth Tech's newly developed Esports program which will compete in the NJCAAE league starting in 2025. The lab will have the latest generation Lenovo Legion gaming desktops and multiple gaming consoles for competitive and club events. Additionally, the lab will have a state-of-the-art live streaming setup consisting of POV cameras and multiple room cameras in anticipation for live streaming matches and events to Twitch and YouTube.

"We are excited to launch Esports at Forsyth Tech," said Director of Athletics, Shelly Barnes. "Kevin McCann has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to get equipment ordered and begin setting up the programs; it is great to see this space starting to take shape. This program will not only attract talented gamers but also provide a unique platform for students to collaborate, innovate, and excel."
